How Seller & Buyer Process Work
At RiichBeggar, when a seller wants to sell a product they first list it by clicking the “Sell” button and setting their own price. We review the listing, add a small commission, and then make it live. The product stays with the seller until a buyer shows interest. Once a buyer is found, we pick up the product from the seller, but we don’t pay them yet because the deal isn’t final. We deliver the product to the buyer, and only if the buyer is satisfied and makes the payment, we then transfer the seller’s amount after deducting our commission. If the buyer isn’t satisfied, we keep the product safely in our storage for 3 days (in case another buyer wants it) The 3-day holding period is flexible and entirely based on the seller’s preference. If the seller wants the product returned immediately, we’ll arrange that. If they prefer us to hold it longer in case another buyer shows interest, we’re happy to do that as well. If no one buys it during that time, we return it to the original seller at no extra cost. This way, sellers only get paid after a successful sale, and neither the buyer nor the seller is charged anything if a product is returned.
How It Works – Step-by-Step Guide with Example
Step 1: Seller Lists the Product
You click on the “Sell” button on our website.
You upload details and set your own price (e.g., ₹200 for the book).
We will manually review your listing and then make it live.
We may add a small extra commission (e.g., we list it for ₹250).
Note: The book stays with you until someone wants to buy it.
Step 2: A Buyer Shows Interest
When a buyer likes your book and wants to buy it, we contact you.
We pick up the book from you — but we don’t pay yet because the deal isn’t confirmed.
We deliver the book to the buyer.
Step 3: Buyer Decision
If the buyer is satisfied, they pay us.
After receiving payment, we transfer your amount (₹200) to your account (after deducting our commission).
What If the Buyer Doesn’t Want It?
If the buyer is not satisfied, we keep the book in our storage for 3 days.
Why? Because another buyer may be interested during that time.
If no one else buys it, we return the book to you at no extra cost
However, this 3-day period is flexible—if the seller wants the product returned immediately or is okay with us holding it longer, we’ll follow their preference.
